God has gifted all His people with different spiritual gifts to serve the body of Christ. Not only has God asked us to use these gifts, but we believe that we will never truly discover our purpose unless we are actively using our gifts to serve and build His church.
Current Ministry Opportunities
Serving the Lord together is an incredible opportunity to get to know fellow members of Faith Baptist Church. Each ministry opportunity comes with its own requirements and expectations.
Food Bank
Membership Required: Yes
Frequency: Weekly
Age Requirement: 21+
Responsibility:
Drive the church pickup truck to local businesses who donate food.
Help unload food and break down cardboard boxes
Food Bank
Membership Required: No
Frequency: Weekly
Age Requirement: 18+
Responsibility:
Record weights of incoming food; stock the shelves, refrigerators, and freezers
Wipe down shelves and bins. Evaluate and discard bad food. Sweep and mop floors
Food Bank
Membership Required: Yes
Frequency: Weekly
Age Requirement: 18+
Responsibility:
Talk with shoppers and listen to burdens and pray with them if needed
Must be confident and thorough in the gospel presentation.
Faith Kids
Membership Required: Yes
Frequency: Monthly
Age Requirement: 16+
Responsibilities
Cares for and plays with our 0-3 yr. olds, A baby room volunteer needs to love babies.
Faith Kids

Age Requirement: 16+
Responsibilities
Assist in Sunday School, Primary Church or Junior Church classrooms to provide help with whatever the teacher needs. This may include craft time, snack time, encouraging students and maintaining order in the classroom.
Guest Services
Membership Required: No
Frequency: Monthly
Age Requirement: 16+
Responsibilities
Arrive early and welcome at the door, lobby, or another high traffic area to help direct guests.
Qualities: Friendly, genuine, servant.
Ideally, a weekly or biweekly commitment.
Worship Ministry
Membership Required: Yes
Frequency: Weekly
Ages: 7th Grade through Adults
Responsibilities
Practices are every Sunday at 9am-945am, singing on the platform each Sunday service at 11am and 5pm.
Qualities
Looking for more choir members who are passionate about praising the Lord.
Must be willing to agree to follow the guidelines and Scriptures found in the Choir handbook.
